Re: Yellow Line ?
There is a simple solution to this problem. Instead of you lot continually moaning about the traffic problem, why don't you just walk? It will do you all good while at the same time saving the local ratepayers £££'s in having to paint yellow lines all over the place.

Re: Yellow Line ?
I seem to remember that it is illegal to park within 15 yards of a bend, this is to allow lgv's room to get around a corner, it also used to be an offence to park opposite another vehicle (double parking), the volume of traffic, apathy from wardens and the police has allowed the rules to be broken, 2 weeks of towing illegally parked vehicles would have a miraculous effect, but bet your life there would be hundreds of complaints from 'unfairly treated' drivers!

Was thinking on the South side ... just works there, and sometimes the council will come to some deal re. loading bays, etc. Problem is, these things are not addressed until there has been some incidents, and don't know if anything serious has happened as yet ... except maybe a few cars getting scraped. |
Re: Yellow Line ?
Some yellow lines half way up on the right where the big wall is would help. It would allow cars to pass each other.
The main problem is the lines at the bottom are parked on by some idiots. That is what causes the problem. You can't turn into the bottom of the street because someone is parked on the line. |
