Very sad news indeed.

That used to be a thriving little industrial estate.........what is left on there now?

My husband used to work at Ward Knowles, I wish everybody there all the best in finding another job.

well there is very little left in oswaldtwistle and accrington employment wise, maybe this will justify me moving away ?

According to the Observer some of the jobs have been saved.

Yes the link given is an old story.

The firm has since been sold, and although the jobs mentioned were sadly lost, hopefully now the plight of the other employees seems more secure.
