Free Free Range Eggs
 

Last year hubby and I took in some ex-Battery Hens. These birds were free to good homes and now we're returning the favour with their eggs!

As the winter came two of them stopped laying, as it expected with these birds. However, the weather is brightening and we are finding eggs all over the garden (they have free roam of our large garden). We are now getting three eggs a day, which is more than we can use.

I have to say that the quality and size of eggs are excellent, the yolks are lovely and are amazing boiled, scrambled or in baking. You can really taste the difference.

If anyone local to Rowan Avenue could use some eggs from time to time, please PM me as we don't know what to do with them all!!! :egged:
