my idea is simpler......just crush the car.
If the car is a stolen one then jail them...but on some inhospitable island off the Northern coast .......the bleaker the better. Give them just enough food for a week...if they can survive off what they can catch or pick then that is how they will have to live...if they can swim back to the mainland they are free.
Just a few sentences like this would send out the right message.

Ditch the EHRA.

A young relative of mine witnessed this crash, and knows one of the victims.

An unmarked police car was chasing a stolen vehicle.

Won't mention the ethnicity of the driver, but he was pushing people out of the way in an aggressive manner, in order to escape.

Happily he was caught.

I hope the poor woman, and the other person, recovers quickly from this.

With people so nearby on the pavement this carnage could have resulted in multiple deaths.

Sadly the driver is uninjured.

Oh please don't even get me started on insurance!! It would be cheaper for me to pay the fine for me having none!! Fair enough i'm a new (ish) driver, but i'm 28 year old and my insurance is £1600 a year!!! Aaaarrrggghhh!!

But I have to pay it because I need my car. If this looser that crashed last night gets a fine I swear i'll scream!!!!

Another one about half an hour ago. Union Road is closed from Lord Street (town hall) to Hawoth Street (clinic).
