that would have been the old noahs ark nicknamed maggies farm, billy and maggie mitchell had it then, barrie spooks worked on it blind arther, (spelt wrong) tarzan,do those names ring any bells, 1966 jeff jeffries married dorothy mitchel and bought a brand new speedway, came to burnley in 1966 remember it well, i didnt work on the old one,

Quite a number of people i have met over the years would have been very much at home in a barn!

I'm sat here, looking out through my window, at where it once stood.

My Mum remembers peeping over the wall as a child, and seeing the house filled with beautiful statues.

The house next door, Foxhill Bank House, still large, but not as ornate, is still standing.

I would love to buy the property that is still there. I often dream as I walk past it walking the dog. It has the biggest, flatest, neatest kept lawn I've ever seen. The owners obviously take pride.
