I dont like the term 'dragged out' much - do you mean that literally ?? I know that one way of getting rid of a large hedge in your garden is to dig round it to a certain depth, tie a heavy rope round its trunk - tie it to a tow bar and drive 5 foot away thus pulling it right out the ground ! but thats really for extreme measures and I wouldnt really rcommend it !!
Just how old is this hedge that you are getting ? if its quite old and established then digging it and damaging some roots (that will happen anyway when its dug up) may just be enough to shock the plant thus making it take longer to re-root which can make it look like its dying (limp branches) and it may even drop its leaves - But we dont want to go there !!!! Your Plant should be alright providing enough care was/is/has been taken when digging it up - if you have any growmore or a plant tonic then sprinkle some of that in the hole before you put it in the ground that way it can have a feed and help the new/damaged roots grow (more). Hope this long winded reply help you ! |
