Ageing

My pet is just a 1 day old baby when will he grow up and turn 2 years old

Also how do u get them onto the next level

Re: Ageing

They age every day.

You level the scallywags up by fighting them with other pets in the arena.

I believe tealeaf used to leave his dog pretty hungry so he was a bit tougher in the arena. Tealeafs dog used to have quite a reputation around these parts...

Re: Ageing

so if they r hungry the fight better

Re: Ageing

You'll have to find that out for yourself!

Re: Ageing

so if they age everyday why is my pet still only 1 year old and he has been alive for 3 i think

Re: Ageing

OK - bug fixed, there was a problem with the php file that does the daily maintenance to the petz system!

Which post? The one about them dying?

vorlon24 23-11-2004 23:29

Re: Ageing

That would be the one.

Is it because I used the 'quick reply'?

If so, I won't be doing that again...

Dont think so, it just seems to be an occasional bug. It's happened once or twice before.

Re: Ageing

If I remember rightly, at one time, before all the petz went on holiday no money was earned or posts earned by posting in the anything goes and petz sections. People with pets who were having trouble making ends meet were posting any old codswallop in these sections in order to earn cash. It was stopped after a while. These sections are for you to post any old cods, but don't expect to get paid for it. The only way to earn money is to post in the serious threads:D

Re: Ageing

That's true Lettie but what happened to Vorlon here was just that his actual post didn't show up after he'd posted it, but then when he made a following post they both appeared.

One of mine was incognito once until someone posted after it and then both showed. That one was in a different forum. Len explained that it was an unidentified occasional bug (or words to that effect)

I have witnessed this bug on one occasion. The post does show up on the main forum index page as the last post but doesn't show up in the thread, I've investigated and couldn't find anything. I'll put it into the vbulletin bug system and get other people investigating as well...
