know this much most people that came into the bar in spain when they found out where we were from they always followed our were from accrington with= stanley,and it didnt matter much where they were from, so as far as i,m concerned accy is famous.

Didnt Stockleys sweets start on Cotton St Accy?
I remember them being there as a kid, before they moved to the old school in church

Staggers. just checked street finder on ntl. Cotton st between Wellington st ond Belfield rd. I lived on napier st parallel to cotton. Where the road bends is end of cotton start of belfield. Used to be a sweet shop right in corner. omg am I that old? :D

BTW that shop on the bend top of Church St has been empty for donkeys ages and it's a crying shame.

nice building on blackburn road made out of accy rustic brick,The brick used had to be specially ordered then made the building is approx 1920 ish so not very old can you guess what and where it is?
