Printing posters
Sorry I ahve looked but cant find a forum on accyweb thats obvious for this question so i will try here
I was using dabs.com to send off pics and have them printed to poster size.. but they have stopped doing it now and redirect you to jessops.. I use jessops for a4 and below printing.. jessops dont do poster size :( So I desperatly need somewhere that does posters so I can continue to supply them to the accy stanley clubhouse....I was paying a tenner at dabs.. I need to keep the price down... the club dont pay.. i do or poeple who have sponsored posters |

I know what gloss is.. the rest is kinda.....whooosh :)

I like satin papers and use that myself but have not had any from there, I usually get the 250g photo gloss, I have had ond done in the 340g canvas and that was very good. keep meaning to try their laminating. I usually send mine in on CD at 600dpi and in tiff format (their prefered format) Check the faq, its all explained in there, pay particular attention to the "I have this print how big can you print it" edit - 190 is the weight of paper |
Re: Printing posters
gonna wait for the wifey to stop watching soaps then we are gonna go through it.. so would you say higher than 190 for a poster...?

What do you mean by a poster? as in an advert or a poster size photo? ie A1, A0 If its going behind glass the weight doesn't matter at all, if its being handled like you do a photo the 240g feels just like a proper photo, you don,t want thin paper for handling plain printing paper is usually about 80g |
Re: Printing posters
