But I'm not a High Street Banker mate, I'm a IT professional in the Financial Services Industry :D

So I pay nowt, that makes me thrifty. I work in Banking, I know next to nowt about how long it takes acheque to clear or these funds to be in that account. Remember teh RAF ad, theres a lot more to teh RAF than flying planes, theres equally a lot more to Banking than dealing with money. :D

Maybe the question should be expanded a bit seeing as lots of people think they are getting free broadband. Something like - What do you pay for your TV, phone and broadband, maybe mobile if it is part of the package.

Yeah ..you mean like the banks take money.. then pour it all into good causes..the RAF ad... that's really cool.. but no.. how do the banks make a profit?
