Virtual earth

Web browser and Live Maps are incompatible

I found this interesting site the other day. Once you have zoomed into hyndburn and surrounding areas a button becomes available called 'birds eye' this then turns the map into fantastic overhead pictures of our area, you can even turn around 360 degrees. These are not satelite photo's like google earth as they seem to have been taken from a plane or something, they are very good quality, all I need to find out now is how to print off a picture of my house lol.

Re: Virtual earth

The pictures of my street look like they were taken early last summer - I only know this because my neighbour changed his car in August and on the picture it shows his old car parked outside his house

For the bird eye views just do a Prt/Scr - Print-screen and edit it in you photo software

Re: Virtual earth

I have seen this used on estate agents websites.
There are some areas not covered by it.
When viewing mine (Osw) I can positively say 'pre Nov 2007'

Re: Virtual earth

That's great, thanks.:)

I'd say it was taken very early in the morning, from the position of the sun/shadows.

Certainly the addresses I looked at.

It's before eight in Ossy, and probably in June, judging by the position of the sun.
