Google & the publishers ...

Just seen this ..

BBC News - Google to limit free news access

Newspaper publishers will now be able to set a limit on the number of free news articles people can read through Google.

So now if you use google to go to a newspaper page .. when you click on the 6th article you are looking at .. you will be took to a registration page or a payment page for that newspaper ... that is if they've signed up to first click ..

This a case for using a different search engine .. :D:D:D

Re: Google & the publishers ...

got to admit it the internet/web has destroyed newspaper readership worldwide, most local newpapers have either closed down or been swallowed up (Accrington Observer ,prime example ) . now its just 'sound bites" about Slags and Wags , my thinking is its just plot by the 'powers' to keep the electorate dumbed down , just another form of electronic opium ...aka ..television stuff like the Simon Cowell crap that appeals to the lowest form of pond life
