Accy Web Twits.

Just found this.

Accrington Web (AccringtonWeb) on Twitter

Nearly everything we post and say is now being copied to Twitter.

Personally I would have liked to have been asked if my posts could be duplicated on another site.

Anyone else any thoughts?

Can we ask who's doing it?

If you google a thread title or a user name I think you will find it out there and that we have been watched/copied probably from the beginning.
That is something the little guest robots are busily doing all the time.

Haven't we always known that whatever we put on the www. can be looked at by almost anyone?

As for who's doing it I don't know, but I suspect that I can guess who it is, after all the more of accyweb that is seen out there the more chance of people becoming interested & new members signing up.

I doubt that there would be any problem asking who is doing it and if my guess is correct you will no doubt soon get an answer.
;)

It's just so naff, unfashionable, and sooooooooo last decade.

Anyone with a modicum of self-respect stopped doing it ages ago, when it was seized upon by old fogeys, keen to tell everyone they'd just mown their lawn, finished a cross-word, or heard their labrador fart...all in a few rivetting characters.

I've said enough...and used up about four times my number of available characters, so I'd better st

Just checked, although nearly everything from here's been transcribed, there are certain threads, lively debates, that haven't made it to the Conway Twitty Bible.

How odd.

Twit censoring.

Twitter not so popular with the young people

Twitter is for old people, work experience whiz-kid tells bankers - Times Online

The young, hip, and trendy, think it's just a place for middle-aged folk to have a moan, using text speak.

Speaking as an old fashionista 'ho, who still has a shaky finger on the pulse of what's hot, and what's not, I proclaim Twitter not.

The only two Twits I know are andrewb, and Graham Jones.

I rest my vanity case, your Honour.
