Glad you're there - (on a very part time basis fortnightly).
Someone has to occupy it or the housing association waiting register would be even bigger.

Cheeky mare, I certainly don't need to be on any register and don't intend on doing so either!

Some people on this forum don't half pee me off sometimes. Can't anyone ask a simple question and get a decent honest answer without putting others down.

Where ever you live, there are going to be nasty neighbours, dole dossers and scally wags. Doesn't mean we all should be labelled the same!

The person who started the thread asked for honest opinions and I gave mine.
I lived on Barnes St from 1991 until 2002 - 11 years.
The area deteriorated gradually during that time as more properties became rented properties. As an owner/occupier I sold very cheap to get out fast and am now in 'social housing' because I cannot afford to buy a replacement.
If you are an owner occupier you may well feel that you resent any criticism of the area because it will affect your home's value, but I was asked for my opinion/experience, and gave it

As with politics you have thoughts way above your station, Ossy isn't fair, look who keeps hogging the Councils cream for his own little Parish? It most definitely isn't a City it is just a subsidiary of Hyndburn nothing whatsoever to make it any better than any other part of the area, but if you must have your little dreams, please feel free.
