just says....Accrington Pals outside Accrington Town Hall, 1st August 1915.

possibly when they all returned to Accrington after the 6 month training, the first and only time all together in uniform. According to the book Accrington Pals an estimated 18,000 lined the streets. (Chapter 4 pages 89/91 in the book Pals by William Turner)
