Joan is not after lost relatives, she's only asking if any one rembers her dad, most of those who worked with her dad in the 1950's have now passed on. There's only a few still alive who remember Lol Maudsley and the others.

I think the best part of the film is that of the young lad in the background who obviously got bored by the all proceeding and decided to clamber up the front of the town hall.

Collar dogs are more prominant (bigger, Lions ) on the army
