Some 25 years ago, I saw this picture in a book some where, I drew this copy of it using my drawing instruments and venier calipers. Now I can't remember where I saw the original picture. I know where the street is. Does any one recognise the picture.

It looks like the pub that was across the road from the garage at the bottom of Manchester Road.

what is confusing is the colunm or pillar on the right
hand side of the picture.unless thats just an artistic add on :confused:

on closer inspection it could well be the
old building opposite the garage was the pub called the red lion ?
