Ready for your next quest.
Here it is, where is it. I've also posted another picture of Christ Church, same year 1848, and because of the draughtsmanship, I'm presuming its the same artist. Retlaw. |
Re: New Puzzle for Katex.
Now that is difficult ... no clues there.
Wonder how the artist ever got those cows to stand still ! |
Re: New Puzzle for Katex.
I wonder if that spotted scarf covering that woman's face completely is some subliminal message ;)

Re: New Puzzle for Katex.
Now come on Retlaw, this is all make believe. That is a sketch done by one of the art students of the Accrington Grammar School in the 1930's!!!!!!!!

Re: New Puzzle for Katex.
As you go up Sandy Lane, past the college and past Heathland, there's a house that looks like the one on the right in your picture. It's been renovated a lot. I think it's opposite the school (St Annes and St Josephs? - not sure what the school is called).

Okay Katex. I'll give you that one, but its real name was Broad Oak fold, that tree is supposed to be the oak. Do you know how many Folds there were in Accrington, and why they were called Folds. Or would you rather have a new picture puzzle. Retlaw. |
