Looking at that photo, jogged my memory about the shop on the corner, opposite the Cinema, If I remember rightly it was one of the first Travel agents in Accy round 1962/3, can't remember what it was called although the names Star and Alpha are pricking my memory and I should really know as when I was still a happyrentice with R. P. Townley's I actually put the flaming signs up over the windows, doh:o

Next to Macfisheries at the top (Odeon) end, was a cafe which did the most divine tasting welsh rarebit.

It was called DELLSTAR TRAVEL
