Those people had just been in a play, when Chris Ryan our teacher, took that photograph.:eek::p

I was a porcupine, and needed to show my pins.:D

Besides, we were made to wear shorts, whatever the season, to save mum time patching the knees of long trousers.

The other children in the play, and photograph are backrow left -right Mark Maden, featured in last few Observers as having lost a lot of weight, Simon Baxendale, Deborah Maycock, Ann Brassey used to own bridal shop on Union road next to post office, middle row Lorraine Walsh, me, Cynthia Young, front row Marsha Taylor, Julie Holmes who owns Original clolothing shops, Heather Long.

Which ones Heather Long Rindi, I knew Heather very well, dated her in my teens couldn't recognise her on the photo:confused:

Heather Long is in the bottom right corner, white blond hair.

Are you sure it is the right one?

When you were in your teens she wasn't born.

Perhaps it was her gran?

In Renaissance art they discovered what's called the Golden Ratio, where the most important subject is placed specifically at a place that's most pleasing to the eye. It's all to do with dividing the composition into thirds, both horizontally and vertically.

Well I'm at that positon.

Worked it out now Rindi, the Heather in the photo was her brothers daughter Wallace and Brenda Long who lived on Roegreave Road

Brenda was our Heather's mum's name.
