This one will get your grey matter bubbling.

Here is a picture of a door, some of you may know where it is. But hang on, there is more to this puzzle.

There is a connection here to the building at the bottom of Willows Lane that was Platts Social Club.

Where is the door?

What is the connection?

Morning A-B, is it on Blackburn Road, the other side of the railway arch?

It does look as if it could be on Blackburn Road, or Fox Street somewhere in that area. Connection with Platts social club?

Hmm, Blackburn Road, that's another connection that I hadn't considered.

The building has obviously seen better days. Could it be 351 Blackburn Road by any chance?

To connect with Platts maybe the house of Mr. Platt.

Re: it's just a door-or is it?

The house stands on Blackburn Road and the number is actually 354, but as it is so indistinct I will let you both have that one. So part one goes to Willow and KSH That's the easy bit sorted, Now for the tough stuff. Guessing, or looking isn't going to help with the second part though. You are going to have to dig deep into the past to get the connection.
Incidentally, I have just given you a clue. Isn't that nice of me? ;)

Oh I was going to say it's called Willow House (built 1875) and Platt's Social Club is at the bottom of Willows Lane so the connection is Willow (or me! lol)

Doctor William Robb Tough!

The door shown was his surgery and he lived at Parkside which is now Platts Social Club.

Probably coming back the following Monday. Want to stay for the Light & Water Festival but kids have to go back to school Sept 1st & 2nd.

We seem to do fairly well avoiding problems on the M6 (having said that we'll probably get jams tomorrow now.) Once came off early to approach Lancaster from the south and regretted it. (roadworks!)
