anyone know anything

hi everyone,
im hoping to find out about my family's history and past , the sledden side of my family , since the 1800's till present there have been sledden's in accy ,ossy and church , if anyone knows anything any info would be great

Hello - have you tried FamilySearch.org - Family History and Genealogy Records - this has the 1881 census free online if
you know names of grandparents/grt.grndparents. Ancestry also offer a free 2 week trial
which can give you lots of clues. Lancashirebmd and rootschat.com are also excellent.

there has been sleddens in huncoat for as long as i can remember to whom i am related , as to wether they were farmers i am unsure.

My God John i think i went to school with him did he used to race whippets i did about 45 years ago and i seem to think i was friendly with him .

Get into Accrington Library's Local Studies dept. Contact the Huyndburn branch of the Lancashire Family History Society. - join that society even if for one year only. There is lots of help and advice to be had. A visit to the society's library in The Straits, Ossie, on a Saturday will be of great help.
