I can only suggest the owner of that medal presents it to Accy Library, they will give it a good home.

hi retlaw,
im in possession of the medal and i would if possible like it to go to a relation of the man to whom it was awarded , is that what the libray would do with it , and thankyou everyone for taking the time to look and for the info.

The Library would add it to their collection of WW1 memorabelia.

The only other thing I can suggest is you contact the newspapers nearest to Hope in Derbyshire ask the editor to do an article.
But don't supply the mans full name, there are a lot of unscrupulous
medal collectors out there, who will do anything to make a few quid.

I don't have the address's of any libraries in Derbyshire.
Check with Accy Library they may have a directory.
