Hyndburn Road, at the front of the houses set back from where the road used to be.

Re: (S)Railings again

I don`t know, but the lamppost is quite old. I used to climb up that sort when I was a kid!

How about Bullough Park?

Acrylic-bob 31-10-2004 20:21

Re: (S)Railings again

No, not Bullough Park.

Re: (S)Railings again

Is it up by Factory Bottoms, Mountain Street I think it`s called?

WillowTheWhisp 31-10-2004 22:43

Re: (S)Railings again

Are you thinking of Bath Street?

WillowTheWhisp 31-10-2004 22:44

Re: (S)Railings again

Or is it the end of Marsden Street?

Acrylic-bob 01-11-2004 07:10

Re: (S)Railings again

This one is really niggling me now. There can't be many of those old lamp posts left can there?

You're enjoying this aren't you A-b?:p

Re: (S)Railings again

Oh how could you think that, Willow. I am cut to the quick - or I would be if I wasn't laughing so much.

You will DIE when you find out where it is.

Sounds like the Dead Center of Accrington :)

Re: (S)Railings again

It's not that old Catholic graveyard again is it? We went past there a couple of days ago but we were moving quite quickly so I didn't notice much.

Acrylic-bob 01-11-2004 21:56

Re: (S)Railings again

no it isn't. Hee hee hee :D

WillowTheWhisp 02-11-2004 21:31

Re: (S)Railings again

Are we thinking of the wrong kind of die?

Acrylic-bob 03-11-2004 05:34

Re: (S)Railings again

Do you want me to tell you the answer??

WillowTheWhisp 03-11-2004 06:45

Re: (S)Railings again

Near Hildens? In the region of Ossy Mills, sort of.

I hate to admit defeat.

Acrylic-bob 03-11-2004 07:59

Re: (S)Railings again

No. But just let me know when you want me to put you out of your misery

WillowTheWhisp 03-11-2004 22:04

Re: (S)Railings again

The bit the other side of the railings looks to be lower land and sloping downwards which is something like the path which leads down from Rose Place to Perth Street but there's no "die" connection there as far as I know.

Acrylic-bob 04-11-2004 18:29

Re: (S)Railings again

Are you ready for this, Willow? The site of these railings is the same as the other set which you guessed at the first attempt... Eaton Bank!

I told you you would be kicking yourself!
