More To Give Away

1 Attachment(s)
Since the first one went quite well, I have had a dig around my vast photo archives and have managed to unearth this little gem.

Same rules as yesterday...Be specific.

Where is it (Location)?
And what was it. (Function)?

The prize on offer for the correct answer to today's puzzle pic is....mmmm.... How about -

200 MONEY
because it 's a bit more obscure than the last one. I'm too generous, I know.
:D

Re: More To Give Away

I'm sure that I've seen this somewhere. Methinks its on the canal, and was used for loading / disposal to hold a large pipe / chute?

But I'm just guessing.

I'm sure I've seen it before, but for the life of me I can't remember where!

It's a nice piccy A-Bob and the weather looks good. Taken some time ago?

Acrylic-bob 25-11-2004 06:25

Re: More To Give Away

It is not near the canal, sorry Darby. The picture was taken in October this year.

WillowTheWhisp 25-11-2004 08:00

Re: More To Give Away

It looks like a window - but it also looks too low down in a wall to be a window. The wall itself doesn't look like the wall of a building either, but it could be misleading.

I don't think I've seen this particular wall but I have seen small round windows similar to this. I'm going to be dragging Busman round strange places again. I can feel it coming.

Call me old fashioned and pedantic if you like, but the above quote doesn't appear to make a lot of sense.

F.A.O. Mick

Would your photograph be the top of Leyland St by any chance? The old Railway sidings caravan storage place?

Bagpuss 25-11-2004 18:21

Re: More To Give Away

C & S Caravan Services Limited, or is it Paintins Caravans on as Willow said Leyland Street. Is the other firm Redline Mot Centre?

Acrylic-bob 26-11-2004 16:37

Doug 26-11-2004 16:39

Re: More To Give Away

Do I not get half the money for answering the second part of the question about Redline?
