|
Re: Puzzle 5
I'm afraid not.
|
Re: Puzzle 5
It's the Library.......Right at the top?
|
Re: Puzzle 5
Oh no it isn't.
|
Re: Puzzle 5
I think it's the police station/courthouse building
|
Re: Puzzle 5
Errmm, No. The reason being that although the same, or similar, material is used ie:Sandstone, the Style is much earlier than that used on the Manchester Road building, which can be loosley defined as Art Deco as opposed to Neo Classical or Neo Baroque.
Have another go.:D |
Re: Puzzle 5
Old bank up Ossy.

Re: Puzzle 5
We've been here before... No it isn't.

Re: Puzzle 5
Could it be the Library?

Vaguely similar dates, different styles; so it isn't the library.

Re: Puzzle 5
Mechanics Institute on Willow Street (no pun intended Willow), or next door, what use to be the childrens library?

Ok to give you all a little bit of an added incentive to get out and about sleuthing I'm increasing the prizes on this as follows...
For the correct and precise location... 5000 Ackers! For the name of the Architect..... 10,000 Ackers! |
Re: Puzzle 5
The exact and precise location is in St James' Street, above the door which is the entrance to St. James' Chambers, located above the Yorkshire Bank.
