Alas poor Leo. Where is he buried?

The correct answer to this compelling puzzle will net the lucky winner 10,000 Ackers

Oakhill Park

Acrylic-bob 03-03-2005 13:58

Re: Puzzle 19b

Dear Willow. Alas Oakhill Park is not the answer to every question lovey. Have another go.

Re: Puzzle 19b

Well how about Haworth Park then? I know I've actually seen that thing somewhere!

Acrylic-bob 03-03-2005 14:02

Re: Puzzle 19b

Infuriating isn't it? No it isn't Haworth Park either.

Re: Puzzle 19b

How about top of Avenue Parade, bottom of Coppice?

Acrylic-bob 03-03-2005 14:06

Re: Puzzle 19b

Oooooooo, not even close.

I bet it's up my end somewhere.

It's too early yet for clues.

What a pity Busman has a load of wood to shift or we'd have been going drive-about this evening.

Acrylic-bob 03-03-2005 14:16

Re: Puzzle 19b

Yeah, pity that.

Re: Puzzle 19b

The puzzle has now been up for two weeks, but no solution.. I suppose I will have to increase the prize.

How does 25,000 Ackers sound?:D

WillowTheWhisp 15-03-2005 07:07

Re: Puzzle 19b

It sounds like a lot of Ackers but it still doesn't help me remember where I've seen this flippin thing.

I think I might be really strict and impose a time limit too... Sunday at 6:00pm...then I will reveal the answer.

Alas, Less, your reference is a little too oblique, I don't understand.

Re: Puzzle 19b

As we are now guessing it's not in the Burnley Rd cemetry grounds?

WillowTheWhisp 15-03-2005 21:15

Re: Puzzle 19b

That sounds good Bagpuss. I can imagine that's where I've seen it.

If not, could it be the actual pet cemetary up Rossendale? But it wouldn't feature on AccyWeb then would it?

Hey, Baggy I do understand that what you have said in the other thread is just to get the cat lovers going (It's the serious ones among them that worry me.).

Just so you know bob, my reference was to do with this thread:-

Re: Puzzle 19b

Thanks for that Less. As for the suggestions of Burnley Rd. Cemetery and Rossendale Pet Cemetery, Willow and Bagpuss, you could not be more wrong. Though, as Willow points out, if it was in Rossendale it would not be featured here.

My mum reckons it's in the garden of one of the large houses on Whalley Rd;near the Crown.

Re: Puzzle 19b

guess at gatty park :)

Acrylic-bob 21-03-2005 06:28

Re: Puzzle 19b

No Lindsay, it's not near Whalley Road and No, Accystanfan, it isn't Gatty Park.

Since no one seems to know where this is I suppose I will have to spill the beans...

It is in the grounds of Highfield House, Woodnook.
