Another of my Uncle`s old photos which I have posted because of the mention of car parking on another thread.

Will turn it into a Quiz for 10,000 Ackers but will have to ask him for the answer.

Obviously it was photographed from somewhere with public access.

From where was it taken?

Looking at the picture and observing the angle it was taken I would guess it may have been taken from the "Astronaut" bar, and the year, again a guess at 1972.

It was taken from Union Street. The building with the cross in the background is now the vets surgery

I go along with Ernie. It looks like it was taken from above street level on Union St so it has to have been from the Astronaut.

Ernie was first to mention the Astronaut -- but no Bank A/C.

Decided to let Willow have the Ackers -- oh dear, once again no Bank A/C.

I suggest donating to the Fibi Trust Fund, I would have guessed the Astronaut as well or upstairs which was The Appollo

I do have a bank account. The number is 1202 and I've checked and it's still there. Perhaps the same goes for Ernie too. Maybe other people just can't see them with the update going on.
