Tough questions Mel -but fun.Dissapointing comments Billcat,most of us are poor at some of the catergories,but we carry on because it is just for FUN!!

When the questions are so obscure that the end result are consistently the same 2-3 correct, the same as one would expect from just guessing (which is what I am doing in the recent topics), any fun is gone, IMHO. Given the recent sets of questions, I'll spend my "fun" time doing other things that are more rewarding. With questions about which bus routes got what names, I'm wasting time.

Sorry if you find my comments disappointing, but I'm just expressing an honest opinion. The quiz was supposed to be fun but, in my opinion, it no longer is. Just a bit of honest feedback, in the hope that changes for the better will occur. In the meanwhile, I'm on to other things.

I'm sure that your comments will be appreciated. At least you're honest. I can see from your location that you would find them difficult, therefore requiring more guesswork. I had a similar experience last week (Global Quiz), when one of the quiz catorgries was all sport. I'm normally good with sport questions, but because it was an American site, all the questions were USA sport. I think i got 5/15. I haven't done the quiz since, as there's no point doing it just to guess.

Sorry Billcat i was rather upset by that comment not that its my fault as to what questions asked are whether you know them or not, i set the category which sorry i have done UK, as many are uk citizens who have patiently & consistantly played fair & didnt complain when US questions that they had to hazard quesses, the questions set by me are of mix of roll over the month to be fair to all!! I give up my time to keep the quiz going & either have to be up awaiting timer change or up early to reset especially during half term.

The purpose of the quiz if FUN or supposed to be a fun extention of the forum - blimey you dont win a sports car its only karma!

As i say i cannot please everyone & was swayed to change the questions earlier than i was, but as Norwich Stanley has said as has others that they enjoying the challenge even of these pool of q's because a 10/10 is hard ...ooohhh there are some competitive spirit folk here:D so they are staying for a little while longer & will announce here when i do reset another category:D

Sorry Billcat but its a choice thing as far as quiz goes being upto the individual whether they want to play or not, of course the more the merrier as our popularity goes up, but at the end of the day its upto you.

Erm let me think, you struggle to answer the questions so instead of trying harder you want Accymel to set easier questions. I think that's why A levels have gone downhill! :eek: :D

Awwwwww:D for me cos i dont play :( i miss the fun hehehehehe is seeing people enjoy the quiz compo & the amount of players taking part in a fun competitive friendly way with a few quizzing rivalries hehehehe - thats what makes it worth while:D The accywebbers quiz team in the top 50 is impressive - accy is on the map:D
