I'll have a go! Can someone explain how it works? Only thing is I can only really play after 6pm as I can only sneak on at work during the day for the odd couple of minutes.

Just send a message to the email address on the homepage, and the quiz mistress will send you a password.

Accywebbers Daily Trivia Competition - Daily Trivia Game

There are ten questions per day, and it's timed.

The subjects change daily.

You do get the odd frustrating question no one will know, about an American football team or something, but since at present we don't have any American members playing, we're all in the same boat.

Oh, the host site is in America.

You can play anytime, day or night.

Each new game starts about 7.30 our time.

Currently the site closes to reset from 7 - 7.30 am, and 9 - 9.30 am, UK time.

That does change by a hour when our clocks change, and if you forget your time can go from about a minute, to half an hour.

I think some people wait till late to play on purpose to see how well the others do and try to beat the best times.....so it might not be a bad thing!

I asked on there if players do that.

Some did.

I never look at the scores until after I've played.

Seeing it as extra pressure.

I always play after breakfast.

When the caffeine's kicked in.

I also tend to play in the morning -otherwise when i first get on the computer during the day.

I always look what others have got first but it never makes a difference to my times!

Aromaanne should be back from NZ next week and will probably start to play again...

Just realised i hadn't played and have made a real pig's ear of it...........damnation!

Is there any way to view the current months league table or do we have to wait till the end of each month?

Yeah, just click 'Standings', at the top of the page, next to 'Main', and 'Awards'.

It shows yesterday's game results, and the on going month's results.

Clicking 'Hall of Fame', shows results from months previous, to the one we're in now.

Good to have some new members playing.

Anyone else, feel free to join in the fun...and the frustration.

Was wondering exactly the same thing as you Steve -will now go and see how my placing is this month...
Don't know how i got 6 today part luck...not my worst though that was a 2 last month on the UK!!! The UK ones are the hardest ones for me as they are generally based and TV sport etc for the last 20 years and I've been abroad for 25....frustrating.

Mine were mainly about Aztec Rulers.

We get different questions because when we all had the same, some people joined up using two user names, played once...slowly, and played again...quickly, once they knew all the day's answers.

There used to be about thirty playing then, so no one realised for a while.

We could all have the same questions now.
