Accrington Web - Accywebbers Daily Trivia quiz Comp!!!

The last time a woman won the quiz was the lovely Westender, in August 2009.

Very sadly she's no longer with us. She passed away in the November of that year.

Looks like the time might be ripe, for another female champ...perhaps.

Might not be good luck to win as a woman(not that I'm superstitious).

Am happy to leave the task to Sue, she's obviously the best candidate.:)

In any case am happy to carry on as a female chump!!:rolleyes::D

Arrgghh..! This morning I was sitting pretty in 2nd place with NINE points, now I'm down to 6th place. Didn't realise there were so many biblical scholars on Accy Web.

Well you beat me on time today even if not on points. And you are on the leaderboard at no 10. Pity Mancie didn't play yesterday, it rather skews the scores...

Have been thinking about your comment yesterday on the quiz board andi rather like the nun idea... Sister Susie Sunflower has a certain ring to it... the female equivalent of the herbalist and gardener Brother Cadfael, tending her plants and looking after her animals (we used to keep goats and chickens at one time). I would have to invent a non religious order - shouldn't be too difficult for an aging hippy who investigated communes at one time.

Looks like a few new players may be on the horizon...

Well done Garinda for todays win - fastest by far.

I think Sue is still in the lead though for this month.

I could have killed mysef for the mistake I made today -have been to see the Crown jewels too -Freudian slip or lack of concentration -who knows. Will try to do better tomorrow.
