The late actor River Phoenix.

Shot to fame as a ten year old, in the film Stand by Me.

Released in 1986.

When you were still in Blighty.

Is it Edward D Wood who directed the film Plan 9 From Outer Space, or maybe Johnny Depp who portrayed Wood in a film biography?

Actually Michael that's the only thought I came up with.

Re: Catchphrase.

Must be Virginia Woods then...

Virginia Mckenna plays Joy Adamson -thought it was her not the actress...(Hence Adams -ville attempt!)

It's the original Wood i think -Johnny Depp is much better looking;)

Looked it up there is a Virginia woods in Oz and I think the other is in America, California?

Original artist Johnny.:)

(Just a thought - is Joaquim Phoenix related to River, Brother perhaps?)

That was a bit of a cheat really, because you needed to know who the people were.

Virginia MaKenna, and the man, which was tougher was American film maker John Waters.
