Planes have wings.....so do birds.......and they sometimes drop 'bombs' too.
OK, bird bombs aren't lethal...but they do make a mess.
Am I getting a handle on this thread now?

birds eat insects so.....

edit: just realised that spiders arent insects, but they eat spiders

Spiders catch flies....by using webs.
Here is a spiders web....not sure if those white things are eggs
