Posh End ??

When I was young Manchester Road area was labelled 'The Posh End' of Accrington, do we have one anymore ?

Even the areas that aren't as tidier as others, hide people with plenty of money in the bank behind their doors, and new estates which held the title of 'Jam Butty Estates' have no problem with cooking their steaks over barbecues in the Summer ... don't think we can really tell now, can we ?

I can remember Dill Hall Lane being known in Church as "Nob Hill". Whalley Road in Accrington used to be reckoned quite posh, but the Hollin Bank area is probably the best bit.
