We will watch it soon and return it Gary. It should not be long as I am becoming an expert at lying on the sofa watching TV bored out of my tiny mind. I still have 2 weeks left on the sick before i go back to work :(. Strange isn't it, I usually moan about having to go to work :D

Watched this last night Garinda, just wondered if you thought his visit to the meetings with other Parkinson's sufferers did him any good ? Ok, they would have a sort of empathy for each other, but were obviously much older and accepted more, whereas the issue for this young man seems to be the unfairness contracting it at such a young age .. which is understandable.

Felt the meeting with the younger man was much more fruitful, however, our subjects worry was that he would not find a partner in life due to this. I really feel someone will come along for him at some time.

Like him I went to a meeting of the Parkinson's Disease Society. The people who run the nearest branch at Burnley are very nice people, and made me feel very welcome.

However after about a year, besides an illness, I found I had very little in common with most of the people, and all the other people were at least thirty years older than myself.

For selfish reasons I decided for the time being I won't be going back. It was like looking into the future. You can't help but compare yourself with other people. I was particularly upset when I met a woman who had been diagnosed about the same age as me, and who was now in a wheelchair and unable to speak.

Knowledge is power, but too much knowledge might cloud your judgement and stop you from enjoying life in the here and now.:)

Yeh, that's what I thought might be going through your mind. Would like to say all the 'stat' things to you Garinda re. this point, but sure you know 'em all. In the meantime, just keep on being your very special 'charismatic' self..remember our conversation on this quality you possess ? Only a few people possess it. xx

Happily found out this afternoon the results of my tests, to see if the strain of Parkinson's I have is genetic, and if my family are at a higher risk of developing it.

It isn't.:)
