Re: Graffiti

these are what are known as 'tags' and each graffiti artist(if you want to call them that..personally 'pest' is too kind a word) has their own tag.....recognised by other local 'artists'.

I don't like Graffiti.....it is vandalism.

Emzy, even the artistic stuff is vandalism when it defaces someones property.

Nor me Margaret .. a pet hate. As far as I am concerned 'tis a criminal offence, offending the local community who have paid their taxes to have a decent environment, and private owners who work hard to keep their property looking decent.

They just 1st class pratts .. and would seriously back jail sentences for this 'artistic cr*p' ..

If graffiti 'artists' wanted to exhibit their 'work', they should start galleries in their own homes, and if they were as good as they think they are, we would pay to go in and admire it.

Public graffiti is vandalism.

Funnily enough some graffiti artists do actually spray their own houses with some amazing things :p

The question is whether people are still happy about this, as some people obviously still see it as an eye sore.

I think you should ask permission to spray on someones wall. I imagine some people wouldn't mind if the wall wasn't particularly in view or anything, and the image was actually artistic.

HAHAHAHAHA

but on another note, i think these people should have somewhere to do their Graffiti, it is art when alls said and done, the council should let them build a wall somewhere so they can show off what they can do, and then maybe it will stop one or two of them from doing it where they shouldnt
