Just like to add that it's a very sad day for the Hunter family and snooker in general. Although I never met the man my mother worked at the sports centre during the time when they had the snooker exhibition matches, one year Ronnie O'Sullivan was the star player and apparantly he was a complete big head and wouldn't stay and meet anyone and left very soon after the snooker was finished. The next year it was Paul Hunter and my mother said that the difference was total and absolute. Paul Hunter signed every autograph, had his picture taken with all and sundry, was polite and pleasant to everyone and was especially good with the young fans who had turned out to see him. Ronnie O'Sullivan should be ashamed of himself, there is no doubt that O'Sullivan is (and now,sadly, was) the better snooker player but only half the man Paul Hunter was.

Couldn't agree more. I enjoy watching Ronnie play because lets face it, his snooker is fantastic. But Paul was by far the better man. I never got the good fortune of meeting paul or watching him play, but last year I went and watched Ronnie play, and yes like you said afterwards we didn't see anything of him.........snooker has lost a TRUE sportsman the day Paul passed away.

RIP Paul , was a great player aswell , looked good aswell and looked really healthy .
