Scanner users?
Anyone else here use scanners to listen to the airwaves? Know of any good frequencies etc just started so help would be great.

If you want to listen to radio hams tune to 145.775 Mhz which is the repeater GB3RF on Hameldon Hill which has quite a good coverage of most of Lancashire.

haven't used mine for years, its at my nans somewhere, doubt it works now though. used to be able to pick up mobile phones. some of the things we heard were quite unbelievable. My nan said she heard one guy telling another about an adult dancer and a chain. She claims to have heard some guy talking to his plants too, amazing what it stops on when you press auto scan
