He keeps walking out on treatment that has/is being offered. He needs help yes. Unfortunately you can only lead a horse to the water.

The papers should leave him alone in my opinion, serves no purpose to pursue the man.

I don't think that being hounded by the media helps at all.
I sympathise with the lad....photographers peering through windows and hanging on words to create stories so that the gutter press can stick another knife in is in my opinion totally wrong.
I think that his footballing friends should not give interviews to any of these newspapers unless and until the proceeds of the interviews are given to the Footballers Union to help the Paul Gascoignes of this world.

Agree to some extent Roy.

The papers could give some percentage of sales to some charity or other ( for attempting to cash in on the misery of someone at a very low part of their life..it wont happen tho) and any fees paid to his football friends given to a worthy cause too.

The flip side of that coin is why should they ? There is enough money within the Premier League to provide support for former employees, employees that earned vast amounts of cash at that who should but may not still have the coffers in the bank.

I agree...........leave the papers on the shelves and don't support the adverts in these comic cuts and maybe they will take notice...but I doubt this will ever happen?
