Sparks most certainly was! :D

What's more, I captured the Kodak Moment, when the ball slid off Mr Lloyd Senior's bat, to backward point, ( a cricketing terminology), for the winning runs.

This season's title felt more special than that of last season's double winning title, because we came from so far behind, having to scrap & fight for the late season wins to take us to the title.

Party hats & streamers, jelly & custard, to all concerned at Accrington Cricket Club!

I wish I had the same script writer as Mr Lloyd. It was written in the stars. :D

A special mention must go to the other member of Accy CC's Dads Army, Paul "Cazzer" Carroll. That towering six, that played "dodge the windscreen" into the car park, certainly relieved the pressure.

Ps... I got a picture of that shot, too. :D

Didn't know they had, according to our website we had 7 balls left?

Re: Accy Cricket club

According to Lancashire League match reduced to 49 overs and Accy had used 48.5 so there was only one ball left. I am glad I didn't realise at the time that there was only one ball left. I too thought there was another over left.

Can't see that anywhere on the site, Acc bowled 50 overs, Lowerhouse entitled to do the same. Top of the Lancs League page states 50 over match.
Not that it matters either way !:mosher:
