but coming down the coppice do they reach the speed of 130km? and the turns and straights .. and still stay on the sledge .. :D:D

Watched some of the bobsledding last night .. the commentator said the italian teams sled was designed by Ferrari .. its in the ferrari red .. and theres no bottom in it where their feet go at the nose .. so when they got down to the bottom and were trying to slow down ... all the dry ice and snow on the track came up through the hole and covered the italian team in it ..:D

Just over an hour to go before the ref drops the puck and Canada and the US go at it ... I'm all decked out in my Canadian hockey sweater and off to Rhea's bar to watch the game .... Canada will be officialy closed for a couple of hours .... hoping for a Canadian win, but, whatever, it will be a great game.

Am I the only one who finds risking injury and death by way of sport, to be no 'fun' at all?

Too many sportsmen are addicted to their 'adrenaline highs', obtained when they expose their bodies to high risk.

There are some sports with no risk eg golf.
Can't see the point of that either. A brisk walk would have the same physical benefits.

A frustrating game ... and, with no thought of sour grapes, the more talented team lost .... shots on goal! But I have to admit, the net minder for the US was outstanding, while Martin Brodeur sucked:mad: But I'll stick with my prediction that talent will out in the end, and Canada will take the gold.
