A mate of mine, who's sadly dead now was an avid woodturner, he made some truly amazing stuff

My first ever job many many moons ago was a woodturner, used to dabble as a hobby but sadly not enough space now and also into model engineering and quite a few other hobbies model boats being one, much to the wifes chagrin, she keeps threatening to banish me to the garage.
