Kansas City Royals Pitcher, Gil Meche, has spurned £7.5 million salary because he says he hasn't earned it, that must be a first. The Pitcher signed a £35 million contract in 2007 so he's not exactly on the bread line but I can't think of say a Premiership striker on a multi million pound contract saying that if he's having a mare of a season, hey boss I've only scored 1 goal from open play this season I don't want paying:rolleyes:
