Eye Gouging
 

On the day the sporting world was outraged at a footballer mouthing expletives at a television camera, a senior Rugby Union player has been charged with eye gouging - ie using his fingers to claw out the eyes of an opponent in a scrum.

Football is a gentlemans game played by thugs, while rugby has become a thugs game played by bigger thugs.

That is out of order ,but the girlie footballers could learn a thing or two about manning up from the rugby players.Most of them wouldnt last the warm up in a rugby game never mind play the game.I used to play so i know its true.But gouging is very naughty i had it once the perpetrator woke up with a crowd round him.;)

i bet the rugby lad, just got up and carried on too, not like the overpaid softies who get overpaid just to kick a bag full of air around a pitch, fall over and roll around like they have been shot, when another player brushes past them, argue with the ref, cheat and dive to get a penalty, im not a rugby fan, but them big lads respect the ref, rarely cheat and get paid peanuts because they love the game not the money
