What a fascinating sport this Ladies Beach Volleyball is.

Ha ha I've just been looking at some pics of this sport on the BBC website and the Brazilian team have got BRA written across the front and back of their tops. Appropriate or what?

Because you blokes have always made such a thing about this sport I didn't realise until just now that it was played by men as well... I'll have to have a closer look!

Well I said I wasn't going to watch the Olympics, but I took a quick peak at womens BVB for a couple of hours, these girls are wonderful athletes:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Good question - how come the males seem to have normal length clothing i.e knee length shorts and so on and a lot of the woman wear revealing bikini's - though there was one fe-team who had long leggings on.

I don't watch it (except the fragments they have on the summary). Did they have flimsey knickers on - butt watchers special! :D I'm watching women's football - GB V Brazil - all well covered up! :)

Zara Phillips has a better rear end than any of the beach volleyball lot

Following the comments in this thread, I decided to watch some of the ladies volleyball this morning. I was shocked to see the young ladies wearing such tiny bikini bottoms. There was plenty of "ride up", which caused me to avert my eyes until said young ladies made their adjustments, but said adjustments were few and far between. Disgusting! I can't believe this is going on all the time, so I am going to watch some more this afternoon. I will get back and report.

If you look closely, you can see that it's a deeply tactical game, with players giving hand signals to each other to indicate how the forthcoming rally should be handled. These hand signals are given furtively behind the back, out of sight of the opponents to retain the element of surprise.

I agree with you Dave, it doesn't really compel me to watch it because it's women in skimpy underwear - I don't get any sense of awe watching the game as opposed to say gymnastics - in which you see that the girls are doing some amazing acrobatics.

Soooo tempted, but I must maintain standards, yes I know they're pretty low, but they're still standards. :D (On top of that, reckon the Witchy one would have sommat to say & I'm damn sure it wouldn't be "Nice to see you showing an interest in sport !" :eek:)

Congratulations to the USA team for beating the ......er..... USA team in the final!...... (?)

Talent won in the end. The winners had the better ball control, hand technique, court positioning, team understanding and overall tactical awareness..............

But the runners up probably had the better tits.........
