Do you know, I can read, I read his first post, I don't need proof from you, the plain fact is he looks in the mirror and thinks lard arse,

he doesn't need you making him feel worse by encouraging him to exercise, he needs positive folk like me to give him a reason to continue his slovenly existence without having to put effort into changing it beyond recognition.

Now, that wasn't me being negative, that was me saying, go later for your pint, if you leave it until the last minute, you will have the added excitement of not knowing if you'll get served.

I know from experience, that makes the heart race,

Now smarty pants how many calories is that?
:)

That`s a fact is it, cos I must have missed where he said that.
I wasn`t encouraging him to exercise, I was asking Margaret about the need to push yourself till you are breathless and using the fact that I had been out this weekend, wasn`t breathless, but still burned plenty of calories.

Oh dear, you are an idiot, you are now, attempting to get into an argument instead of just passing time.
Well, argue, try your best to make yourself feel clever at the expense of me just having a jest, I'm sick of your type, rant away, put forward umpteen posts about how this is right and that is wrong, then move on to the site being so much better if we all ran it your way.
When you've finished send me a P.M. and I'll think up one of my put downs don't expect it to be a good one you won't be worth it.
:D

Sorry Less, you`ve lost me now (not literally, you don`t get rid of me that easily). I was asking Margaret a legitimate question, which she kindly and informitively answered. Where`s the arguement, where`s the ranting, where have i the asked for the site to be run my way? I`m just here, listening to some music, having a read and chirping in if I think I have something to say or ask, isn`t that what sites like this are for?

Homer - are you sure coming to this forum and asking if someone wants to walk somewhere is that much of a good idea? :)

Ah been discussed before http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/f...cal-52405.html

In these days of austerity it seems 'wasteful' to excercise to lose weight.

Eating less and conserving energy is more logical.

There have been so many athletes and sportsmen dropping dead during excercise that it does make me wonder whether the 'fitness' regimes are really 'healthy'.

Got sick of walking the dogs in the same old places Margaret, seen some pics of Davemacs in the photo sections and decided to wander out that bit further and explore places I`d never been before.

Like everything Margaret...you need to use a modicum of common sense....and I know that it isn't such a commom commodity.
When you have some weight to shed, you need to be realistic about what you can achieve with diet and exercise.......it took ages to accummulate the weight, so it makes sense that it will take just as long(or maybe a bit longer) to get shut of it.
Every overweight person wants to be slim right now...when a couple of pounds weight loss per week is good going.

Less, it was n't me with the boom box...I just had a little MP3 player....and didn't play it loud...just loud enough for me to hear...and keep my pace up.

Blocking out views of nuclear and security facilities is understandable, but when they block out parts of the Google Sky

3 Censored Sky Map Images (With Very Similar Declinations) | Space

..it does make me wonder what is up there that they don't want us to know about.
