The Grand National - Saturday 9th April 16:10

It's that Grand National time again, this Saturday upto 40 horses will be battling it out at Aintree, some may die, some may not, but thats another thread;). Here we are talkin Ackers - cold hard Ackers, get your Ackers down on one of these fellows and see if you can win loadsa ackers! Non-runners do not pay money back.

What a nightmare that was... Anyway, as there are 85 contenders now and there will only be 40 runners I decided to DOUBLE the odds.. Thats right, the odds are doubled right now so where you see 1000/1 it should in fact be 500/1! So get your bets in early as the odds will not be this good for long.....

OK, here's a tip for peeps. Last year, Ginger McCain said that Amberlrigh House does not carry weight well, and as he trained Red Rum, he knows what he is talking about (Ginge is Amberleigh House's trainer). And as Amb has had a good season, his weight will be sky high. So it would be a bad idea to back Amberleigh House. Hedgehunter, Forest Gunner and Clan Royal are good bets. Bindaree, Monty's Pass and Majed are also fair good bets. Majed is only a good bet as it is 1000/1, but the others are good horses.
