Anyway, looks like they're going to replace both Des and Carol and it will continue after Christmas.

Best of luck, you'll have to let us know when it will be shown then we can watch you.
My mum was a contestant on Countdown about 15 years ago when Richard and Carol were presenting it. She won 2 games then lost the third. We all had a fabulous day at the studios.
It's surprised us when she went shopping in Accy after the programme was shown on telly and people she didn't know stopped her to congratulate her!
We hadn't expected that.
A little bit of fame for a week or so, LOL.

It was a super kid who beat my mum. He was only 10 and my god he was quick! I think he finished up runner up of the series!

It could be any time in the next six months before i get the filming dates. Then it's about three weeks before it's aired. So, could even be after Christmas!!!!

watched it all now, my take is she never beat ya, ya beat yerself wi first night nerves, i reckon if it had been her first night ya would have stuffed her, so well done, an ya know if i thought ya were crap, i would have told ya.;)

I loathe the programme but watched 3 minutes just to see Gayle.
That new presenter is more 'creepy' than that 'sarky' one that passed on.
I hope Gayle appreciates the personal mental anguish I suffered by watching it :D
