I just love The Christmas Carol, the muppets one is ace, really funny! Scrooged is good too. Also love The Santa Clause (the ones with Tim Allen).

Muppet Christmas Carol is a winner however Die Hard should be worth an honourable mention.

My favourite is A Christmas Carol the 1951 version with Alistair Sim as Scrooge, Paterick Stewart was also very good in the 1999 TV version too
No doubt we will also get the usually Xmas standard again this year, The Great Escape:eek:

I agree with Emzy. Santa Claus the movie is great! A Muppet Christmas Carol is also great!
Scrooged, Elf, The Nightmare Before Christmas & Love Actually are worth a mention aswell.

We are getting Finding Nemo & Madagascar on BBC1 this year.

I've never been quite sure whether that should be a Christmas Movie or a Halloween Movie. Whichever way round though, it is great.

I have to confess to loving Polar Express, an animation with Tom Hanks voiceover.
Its very escapist and I will probably watch it tomorrow when its snowing again.

Every Christmas I watch "It's a Wonderful Life" starring the lovely Jimmy Stewart. If it's not scheduled I watch my DVD - curled up on the sofa beside the fire with a big glass of wine and a box of either Plain Chocolate Brazils or After 8s - luvverly! ;)
