Bedtime Stories.................

Just watched Disney`s latest box office smash, thought it was ok but a little slow with a bit of an all star cast, Adam Sandler, Courtney Cos, Guy Pierce, Russell Brand and Uncle Vernon from Harry Potter(whatever he`s called), I`d be a bit put out if i`d paid full price at the flix but would recommend seeing it on Dvd or when its on at kids club.......

I though Russell Brand was good and Mr Sandler his usual excellent self, a little slow for young ones but........

Saw it at the cinema when it came out. I was surprised that I enjoyed it at the time, but probably wouldn't watch it again. Russell Brand is a funny fella (when not trying to be) which makes up for being a god awful actor. Adam Sandler makes me cringe.

Watching that film was an emotional experience http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/i...ilies/wink.gif

For me, Brand is best in his radio shows.

Ventures where he is the centre of attention or 'comedic frontman' (The Russell Brand Show, Russell Brand's Ponderland, his live stand-up shows etc.) never quite work because his lack of convinving material make his persona seem forced. And of course he can't act in films :D

In radio shows (or on the brief but brilliant 1 Leicester Square for MTV) he bounces off guests well and shows his superb talent for a comic quip. Or abusive phone call. Shhh.

I too am a fan of 'our Russell and have to lobby the existence of, and point to the location of his talents often. Much like Mulder with his little grey men. Ahh...

i've never ever heard him on the radio, mind you i only seem to listen to it when i'm washing up and then its only very brief, maybe i should change radio stations and stop listening to local stuff :D
